Scarce Pinches of London medal for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) Knock Out Competition for 1946. This was the first year the competition was staged. The Advisory County Cricket Committee under the chairmanship of Col. R.S. Rait Kerr was asked to investigate the proposal for a Cricket Knock-out Competition in 1945 and commence in 1946.
