A rare glass and silver plated tankard inscribed "R.C.R.C. Scratch Fours WH Churton June 27th 1865." In excellent condition. WH Churton also represented the Gentlemen of Yorkshire cricket team in 1864. The Royal Chester Rowing Club was founded in 1838.
