Mullock’s has joined up with Sportbilia to provide a worldwide service to enable anyone who has a collection sporting memorabilia to sell it quickly and achieve the best value possible. Your collection does not have to be shipped to the to be sold, we come to you. The service we provide includes:
- Initial valuation;
- Detailed valuation, accurate descriptions and agreeing appropriate reserves;
- Photography;
- Auctioning the collection using Sportbilia;
- Posting and Packaging;
- Processing and collection of buyers' payments; and
- You receive a single payment within 14 days of the close of the sale.

A Buyers Premium is payable at 16% (exclusive of VAT) of the value of the winning bid. This means that, for example, that a winning final bid price of £50 will incur a Buyer's Fee of £8 and VAT of £1.40 so the price payable will be £59.40.
Condition Reports
To professionally appraise any item Mullock's need condition requests within five days of the close of any sale - and notification as soon as possible will be much appreciated.
Commission Bids
Mullock's are always pleased to advise clients and to execute bids on their behalf without extra charge. All commission bids must be confirmed in writing or by facsimile transmission, and any commissions will be executed using the Sportbilia automated proxy bidding system. Commission bids will only be accepted on receipt of Credit or Debit Card details. Please note that:
1. All commission bids are left entirely at the Buyers risk and neither the Auctioneers, their agents or staff will be responsible for any errors in the execution of bids howsoever caused.
2. No commission or telephone commission bids will be accepted on the morning of the sale. All bids are to be received 2 days prior to the auction.
3. All buyers will be asked for credit card details when executing commission bids. In the event of a successful commission bidder not paying 14 days after the sale, we reserve the right to take any outstanding monies including charges, postage and packing off the credit/debit card as supplied.
4. Successful commission bidders will receive an invoice detailing purchases and giving instructions for payment and collection of goods. Payment must be received in full within 7 days.
Postage, Packaging and Packing
Due to the worldwide market that Sportbilia serves, varying physical size and weight of the memorabilia being auctioned and potential multiple purchases, we do not include postage, packaging and packing costs in our descriptions. At the close of the Mullock's auction we will contact you and confirm the cost. Our costs are competitive and purely cover the actual postage, packaging and packing costs.
Unless we have written instructions to the contrary, all packages with a value of £50 or more will be posted insured. This cost will be clearly stated with our confirmation email.
Delivery times will vary depending upon payment method and description. Items paid for with either credit card or debit card will be processed within 48 hours. Allow 2-3 days for delivery within the and up to 2 weeks overseas. Items paid for with a cheque will be held for bank clearance and postal order payments will be dispatched upon receipt.
Storage Charges
Pease note that a storage charge will be levied after 10 days for items where shipping instructions have not been received and will be charged at a rate of £1 per day.
Estimates
The estimated prices in the item descriptions are approximate prices expected to be realised excluding the Buyers Fee. They are not definite. They are prepared well in advance of the sale and are subject to revision.
