About us

Before we talk about us we would just like to say something about you. We want you to know that you are very important to us. Of course, all website owners will say that customers are very important to them the difference with us is that we really mean it. We created Sportbilia because we increasingly felt as customers ourselves we werent important to the big online auctions and were just Usernames that made them money. We decided that the best way to put this right was to create our own website one that put customers first.

Why is Sportbilia different from other auctions?

Sportbilia is not only a marketplace to buy and sell sports memorabilia but its also a community of enthusiasts who exchange information, news, advice, friendship and much more. Its whatever you would like it to be because well listen to what you say to us.
We aim to provide you with a complete service for your sports memorabilia including:

How we got to here

We sat down together in early 2004 and took the big decision to create a safe low cost, easy to use and enjoyable sports memorabilia auction site. We also decided that we wanted to be more than just another auction and so we have created a community for all of us who buy and sell and have an interest in sports memorabilia.

After months working with our team of web-designers we created Sportbilia in October 2006. Were really proud of what we have achieved, its not perfect, no web site is, but we are willing to listen to you and work with you to ensure that Sportbilia is as good as it can be for all of us.

So its been a long journey and one that well probably never reach the end of as we continually strive to improve our service to you.

The driving force behind Sportbilia is Simon Jackson a private collector of sports memorabilia and enthusiast whose experience and interests includes many of the main sports being collected from around the world.
